Code of Conduct
Purpose
The Telride Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected of all drivers, passengers, contractors, and staff. Its purpose is to ensure safety, respect, professionalism, and trust across the Telride platform.
General Principles
All Telride users must:
- Act honestly, responsibly, and lawfullyTreat others with respect and dignity
- Prioritise safety at all times
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Telride policies
Driver Conduct
Drivers are expected to:
- Hold valid licences, permits, and insurance as required by law
- Operate vehicles safely, legally, and responsiblyMaintain a clean, roadworthy, and smoke-free vehicle
- Be punctual, courteous, and professional
- Follow navigation and traffic laws at all times
- Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or abusive behaviourNever drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or    impairing substances
- Respect passenger privacy and confidentiality
Passenger Conduct
Passengers are expected to:
- Treat drivers with courtesy and respect
- Follow lawful and reasonable instructions from the driver
- Wear seatbelts where required
- Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behaviour
- Not damage vehicles or property
- Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or abuse
- Not request illegal or unsafe actions
Safety & Zero-Tolerance Policies
Telride enforces zero tolerance for:
- Violence, threats, or intimidationSexual harassment or misconduct
- Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, disability, age, or sexual orientation
- Alcohol or drug use during trips
- Fraud, theft, or misuse of the platform

Any serious safety concern may result in immediate suspension or removal from the platform.
Communication & Professionalism
- Communication must be respectful, clear, and appropriate
- Offensive language, gestures, or behaviour are prohibited
- Disputes should be handled calmly and reported through Telride’s support channels
Privacy & Data Protection
- Personal information obtained through Telride must be kept confidential
- Recording audio, video, or images without consent is prohibited unless legally permitted
- Platform data must not be misused or shared improperly
Reporting & Enforcement
- Breaches of this Code should be reported to Telride
- Telride may investigate complaints and take action, including warnings, suspension, or termination
- Serious breaches may be reported to authorities where required

By using the Telride platform, all drivers and passengers agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.
